Dr. Chin, board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, is an expert in the upper extremity, face and peripheral nervous system, which are critical determinants of human function and disability. Dr. Chin is a diplomate of the American College of Disability Evaluating Physicians and a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the State of California. He is widely regarded as an authority in industrial injuries, causation, disability apportionment, and disability rating under both California and federal jurisdictions. He is also recognized for his expertise in low-energy cumulative trauma disorders and repetitive stress injuries, and has testified extensively on these topics.
