Breast augmentation
Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure designed to enhance breast size and shape using implants or fat transfer. This procedure can address various concerns including asymmetry, volume loss after pregnancy or weight changes, or congenital differences in breast development. Beyond the physical transformation, breast augmentation can also enhance a patient’s body image and self-confidence, empowering them to feel more comfortable and confident in their own skin. Dr. Chin’s practice focuses on achieving natural-looking results that complement your individual anatomy and lifestyle goals.
Breast augmentation can address a range of concerns, including:
- Small or underdeveloped breasts
- Volume loss after pregnancy, breastfeeding, or weight changes
- Breast asymmetry
- Desire for enhanced breast shape
There are two main approaches, depending on the amount of correction needed:
- Silicone implants feel more like natural breast tissue and are ideal for patients seeking a softer, more natural result.
- Saline implants are filled with a sterile saltwater solution after they have been positioned within the breast pocket. Saline implants allow for fine-tuning during the procedure to achieve optimal symmetry between both breasts. They also require a smaller incision, which can result in less noticeable scarring.
Dr. Chin works closely with each of his patients to determine the best approach to meet their unique needs. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Chin to discuss your breast augmentation options.
